The Todd Mercantile is a country bakery, gift shop, and event space. We offer a combination of shelf-stable items, local produce, and homemade breads, baked goods, and sandwiches. Upstairs, we feature the work of many local artists and host a variety of community events, including live music, square dancing, and storytelling.

Dilly Dally Espresso Bar operates inside Crop & Trade co-op market, where local producers and artists fill the shelves with their passion projects. Dilly Dally aims to be an espresso bar and herbal tea shop, meeting people wherever they are in their day and supporting them there.

Laughing Spring Farm

  Laughing Springs Farm & Botanicals is a certified organic farm located on the edge of Boone on 17 acres of land that we are grateful to begin stewarding. Established in early 2022, we are building our farm slowly as we come to better know the land with each season.

Established in 2024, we aim to provide an array of southwestern flavors across a line of mouth-watering tamales, salsas and other foods. Our focus on partnering with local Western North Carolina produce vendors, butchers, farmers and markets, to produce savory and healthy meals, has helped design and manifest a company which feeds the community that it serves.

Our farm is located in Happy Valley, NC, about 40 minutes from Boone. We live to eat. We are totally obsessed with dirt, fruit, variety, colors, the joy of eating something so fresh, so delicious, that it makes you dance.

Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Todd, North Carolina, Willet Ponds Farm is an authentic Appalachian farm that we turned into a “vacation farm” so that we could share our little slice of mountain heaven with you.  We sell eggs, poultry, firewood, trout, apples and more, but the real treasure here is intangible.
